Edward Everett was an American statesman, clergyman, and orator, as well as professor of Greek at Harvard University and president of Harvard University, 1846-1849. Millard Fillmore was born in Cayuga County, N.Y. and later became a resident of East Aurora and Buffalo. He was a lawyer, local office holder, State Assemblyman, U.S. Congressman, N.Y.
